Five-storey rental building proposed for Lonsdale Ave. near Hwy 1

Cascadia Green Development has applied to the City of North Vancouver to construct a five-storey market rental building on Lonsdale Avenue, just north of Highway 1.

The new building will include 64 units, with two levels of underground parking with 40 vehicle parking stalls and 96 bicycle spaces. There will be eight EV charging stations.

The unit mix includes:

  • 30 studio units
  • 16 one bedroom units
  • 11 two bedroom units
  • 7 three bedroom units

The site is currently occupied by two older apartment buildings.

Integra Architecture Inc. describes the design as “a simple, modern, familiar to North Vancouver West Coast vernacular that is consistent with existing residential buildings and will blend harmoniously with the neighbourhood.”
