Boutique hotel proposed for top floor of new Kerrisdale building

A unique mixed-use building containing retail, office space and a small hotel is proposed for West 41st Avenue in Kerrisdale.

The four-storey building, designed by Rositch Hemphill Architects, will have retail units on the ground floor, office space on the second and third floors, and a seven-room hotel on the fourth floor.

The rooftop will feature a large garden area with seating areas, planters and a pergola.

The architecture is described by the architect as “classic, in recognition of the history of Kerrisdale and its image as an upscale community.”

There will be three levels of underground parking. The site is currently home to two smaller commercial buildings.
