Condos, retail planned for mid-block site on Kingsway

A four-storey, mixed-use building is planned for 1050 Kingsway between Windsor Street and East 20th Avenue.

Matthew Cheng Architect Inc. has submitted a development application including 49 condominium units with ground floor retail.

There will be two levels of underground parking with 78 stalls, and a roof deck amenity area for residents.

Façade materials will include a cementitious panelized wall system, as well as red and grey brick. Wood-look PVC panels will also be used.

As the site is zoned C-2, the application is conditional, however, it still requires the decision of the Director of Planning.
