Six-storey rental building for bend of Clark Drive

A six-storey rental building with 79 units is proposed for the bend of Knight Street where it becomes Clark Drive.

The proposal, at 1405 E 15th Avenue and 3071-3047 Maddams Street, was designed by Stuart Howard Architects for developer Caulfield Rock.

35 per cent of the units will be suitable for families, including 10 per cent three-bedroom units.

Twenty-four underground parking spaces are proposed, a 45 per cent reduction over what’s required due to the site’s location on a frequent transit route and proximity to the Kingsway and Clark Drive shopping area.
