Luxury condominium building constructed to Passive House standards for West End

We are getting a look at models of an upcoming boutique condominium building in the West End.

The six-storey building at Harwood and Nicola will include 13 market condominium units and one level of underground parking.

A previous proposal included only five units, but that has now been increased to 13 units.

The architect is Cornerstone Architecture, and the new building is designed to Passive House standards, with individual HRVs and heat pumps for each unit, among other sustainability features.

The site is currently occupied by a single-storey building constructed in 1942, and containing multiple rental suites.

The building heads to the Development Permit Board on October 15, 2019.
