Despite taking a battering during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, Vancouver retail vacancies are at extreme lows according to a new report from Colliers International.

Construction crews are busily putting the finishing touches on The Arc by Concord Pacific, next to the Cambie Street Bridge.

The 30-storey tower, designed by Francl Architecture, features a unique design with an open vertical space between two distinct tower forms, bridged by glass bottom pool suspended 20 storeys above a public plaza.

Retail units surround the plaza, and the public realm will be connected to Concord Pacific’s One Pacific development on the other side of the Cambie Street Bridge.

The façade features coloured metal panels, long glass balconies and curved concrete edges.
