New Amazon office in downtown Vancouver nearly complete

The future home of Amazon in downtown Vancouver is nearly complete.

Oxford Properties’ 10-storey office building at Dunsmuir and Homer is taking shape and preparing for the arrival of its anchor tenant, Amazon, which will use the new building to consolidate over 1,000 employees currently working at temporary offices throughout downtown Vancouver.

The design, by B+H Architects, looks fantastic with dark glass and a clean, modern aesthetic that contrasts well with the historic Holy Rosary Cathedral located across the lane.

The new, AAA office space is located at the centre of Vancouver’s new tech district. It won’t be the only Amazon office in the area — directly across the street, the tech giant has leased all of the office space at The Post by QuadReal, comprising over one million square feet. That development will complete in 2023.
