Six-storey condo project for Cambie & West 64th

GUD Group, also known as Grand Union Design, has designed another Cambie Street condominium building — their fourth project along the rapidly-changing street.

This time, it’s a rezoning for a six-storey, 27 unit condo building at 7969-7989 Cambie St., and West 64th Avenue. The Cambie Corridor Plan has ushered in dramatic changes along the corridor, allowing for six-storey buildings on newly assembled properties.

The building will replace two single-family homes, and the developer is South Cambie Holdings Ltd.

There will be a mix of units, with 41 per cent being either two or three-bedroom. A rooftop amenity area will include a BBQ, common dining table, arbor, planters and playground.
