Keltic Canada breaks ground on medical building for global company Masimo

Keltic Canada Development has broken ground on a new medical building for Masimo at 220 Prior Street, adjacent to the new St. Paul’s Hospital.

Masimo develops medical monitoring devices for hospitals, as well as for consumer use. The company is based in Irvine, California and has over 8,000 employees worldwide.

The nine-storey, 100,000 square foot building will be the first building in the Healthcare Precinct of the False Creek Flats. It will house clinical research, product development and retail spaces, and be home to approximately 170 jobs.

“Our team is thrilled to finally be breaking ground. We are excited to work with Masimo and to be a part of such a positive project for the medical industry in Vancouver,” says Rachel Li Lei, managing director, CEO Keltic Canada Development.

The building was sold as strata office space to Masimo for an undisclosed amount. It’s expected to be completed in late 2024.
