A new, mixed-use development at Ross Drive and Birney Avenue in UBC’s Wesbrook Village will bring much-needed rental housing to the campus.
The Lot 11 project consists of a 14-storey market rental tower, and 20 three-storey townhouses for UBC faculty and staff.
The rental tower will offer studio, one-bedroom, two-bedroom and three-bedroom units. Townhouses will each have three bedrooms as well as a 300 sq ft. basement flex space.
Residents will have access to a rooftop amenity space atop the rental tower, as well as a large, multi-use amenity room next to the lobby.
The project will overlook UBC Farm, a 24-hectare working farm operated by the Faculty of Land and Food Systems. It’s adjacent to another recent development proposal by Polygon.
