White Spot on SE Marine to close, industrial building planned

The White Spot at SE Marine Drive and Ross Street in Vancouver will close permanently on April 10, 2021 to make way for a new industrial development.

The Sunset Industrial Centre is slated to replace the restaurant, which has open since the 1950s and is one of the few remaining locations to offer “car hop” service.

The new industrial building will be three storeys and measure 134,421 square feet. There will be underground, surface and above-ground parking.

The architect is TKAD Architecture + design for Shato Holdings.
