Sleek four-storey industrial and office building slated for Mount Pleasant

New industrial and office buildings continue to pop up across Mount Pleasant, as the area continues its transformation into Vancouver’s light manufacturing and tech hub.

Mallen Gowing Berzins Architecture (MGBA) have designed a four-storey building for the corner of Manitoba and West 8th, with two levels of manufacturing use (ground floor and mezzanine) and three levels of office use.

The building will be served by two levels of underground parking with 20 stalls, accessible from the lane via car elevator.

The façade will feature extensive glazing, and exterior amenity areas on the mezzanine, second, third and fourth floors. The lobby entrance will be located off Manitoba Street.

The development is in close proximity to Westbank and Hootsuite’s new tech campus on Main Street between East 4th and East 5th avenues.
