PC Urban, Nicola Wealth plan small-bay, strata industrial in Coquitlam

PC Urban and Nicola Wealth have acquired a 3.4-acre property on Barnet Highway in Coquitlam to develop a light industrial strata project.

The property is located at 2660 Barnet Highway, on the southwest corner of Barnet Hwy. and Bond Street, just west of the Coquitlam Centre shopping mall, which will be redeveloped in the near future.

PC Urban and Nicola Wealth plan to develop two buildings on the property, containing small-bay, strata industrial product, totalling 100,000 square feet.

“The tri-cities of Coquitlam, Port Coquitlam and Port Moody are starved for new industrial space,” says Brent Sawchyn, CEO of PC Urban. “This project will serve the growing number of small to medium sized businesses in the area seeking to purchase their own space.”

PC Urban and Nicola Wealth have partnered on 12 other “IntraUrban” projects across B.C., and recently acquired a 2.8-acre site at 8700 Barnard Street in south Vancouver.
