Brightside plans 100 affordable rentals in Marpole

Brightside Community Homes Foundation is planning the redevelopment of MacLeod Manor on French Street in Marpole.

The new building, designed by Integra Architecture, will include 100 social housing units in a six-storey building. There will be 26 underground parking stalls and 214 bicycle parking spaces.

It will replace 46 existing units, as well as adding 54 new ones. The mix will be as follows:

  • Studio: 29
  • one-bedroom: 47 
  • two-bedroom: 14
  • three-bedroom: 10 

The development is being considered under the Marpole Community Plan.
